2. Timing software system, F.A.S.T., that is very flexible and utilizes common hardware that is readily available. An electronic timing system, capable of timing to the hundredth second, is entirely possible utilizing F.A.S.T., a digital video camera recording at 120-420 fps, wireless instant start with pistol retort and a laptop or netbook computer. All this for hundreds of dollars instead of thousands.
